Blackpool is full of attractions, entertainment and shows, with a skyline dominated by the 518ft Blackpool  Tower. Why not ride the ‘Pepsi Max Big One’ - one of the world’s tallest and fastest roller coasters? Or take it all in with a walk along the famous Golden Mile.

There’s more seaside entertainment at Lytham St. Annes - walk along the promenade, pass some time by the bandstand or stroll along the majestic Victorian Pier.

For a quieter time the Forest of Bowland, the Ribble Valley and Pendle Hill are all areas of renowned natural beauty.

A visit to the World Heritage city of Liverpool, the European 2008 Capital of Culture, will provide something for everyone. From reliving happy memories with a magical mystery tour of Beatles landmarks to discovering more listed buildings then any city outside London or learning the fascinating maritime history of Liverpool's port, the second city of the British Empire and the gateway to Britain.

Cheshire is home to Britain’s largest zoo and one of the UK’s most prestigious flower shows; also here you will find the Roman city of Chester. Encircled by city walls, Chester has its unique 13th century two tiered shops, a beautiful Gothic Cathedral and Britain’s largest Roman Amphitheatre to visit.
